Monday - First full week of school

It is the first full week of school. Today we started our spelling. All of the 5-8th graders have new spelling series. The 5th and 6th graders took their pretests today and did fairly well. The 7th and 8th graders learned their first 12 words - each week they will have 48 words.

Today for art we worked on one point perspective drawings. We worked on dividing our paper into different sections to draw the road. We are still working on our pictures and next week we will color them.

The 5th and 6th graders started working on our large map of Europe. The students were enjoying seeing all the countries that are in Europe and the size of some of them.
